Job summary

SPIE Global Services Energy, Qatar, is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to support operations and maintenance of Messaid Industrial City. You will manage subcontractors for Qatar Energy and oversee Fire Fighting System and related supporting systems.

The role requires hands-on PM/CM experience, SAP workflow, and the ability to lead a maintenance team, ensure safety, and coordinate day-to-day activities. Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile and valid Qatar driving license are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile or Equivalent.
• Valid Qatar Driving License.
• 10+ years of experience in O&M of Fire Fighting System.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on preventive, corrective maintenance and overhauls of heavy equipment, fire trucks, pumps and HVAC systems.
• Monitor and use SAP for Notifications, Work Orders and Service Entry Sheets.
• Troubleshoot faults and provide on-the-job training to technicians and foremen.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the maintenance team under supervision.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain safe work culture.

Job description

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy, Qatar, for a Mechanical Supervisor to support operations and maintenance of Messaid Industrial City. Responsible to manage sub-contractors of Qatar Energy and facilitate smooth operation and maintenance activities for the Fire Fighting System and attached supporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience in Preventive Maintenance/Corrective maintenance and Overhauling of Heavy equipment/Fire trucks, Pumps and HVAC system
• To monitor computerized maintenance system, handling of Notification, Work Order, Service Entry Sheet in SAP
• Troubleshoot the maintenance faults, problem solving and providing on-the-job training to less experienced technicians and foreman
• Hands-on experience in working with Work Permit system Oil & Gas Industry
• Shall be responsible for the day-to-day operations undertaken by the maintenance team under his control
• A thorough knowledge of all aspects, of mechanical /automobile maintenance works is required
• Operation and maintenance of complete mechanical / automobile Systems, which includes supervision, planning and scheduling, inspection
• Draws attention to his ability to manage a repair department, perform preventative work, and follow safety protocols
• The candidate concludes with important abilities including Safe work culture and practices

Experience Required:

• Minimum level of experience required: 10 years or more
• Experience in O&M of Fire Fighting System

• Valid Qatar Driving License
