Job summary

Airswift seeks a QAQC Engineer (Mechanical) to work in Qatar on a major Oil & Gas project. The role demands extensive experience in QA/QC activities for mechanical construction and commissioning, with strong knowledge of ASME, API, ISO and other international standards.

IRCA QMS Lead Auditor certification and related discipline certifications are highly desirable. The candidate will implement QMS, supervise inspectors, and coordinate with EPIC contractors and end users to ensure quality delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• IRCA QMS Lead Auditor certification is essential or highly desirable.
• Welding, NDT, Painting, Insulation, Refractory or related discipline certifications are preferred.
• Membership or certification from ASQ-CMQ/OE, MCQI-CQP or equivalent is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce Quality Management System requirements for QA/QC on mechanical construction.
• Oversee QA/QC activities for mechanical construction and commissioning on major oil & gas projects.
• Coordinate inspection and testing, review QP, ITP, QCP, MAR, and ensure compliance with international codes and standards.
