Job summary

Swan Global seeks an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee procurement, strategic sourcing, inventory planning and end-to-end supply chain operations for a leading lubricant manufacturing facility in Doha, Qatar.

The role requires strong knowledge of lubricant raw materials, supplier management and manufacturing supply chain processes, with expertise in SAP and ERP systems, and fluency in English (Arabic a plus).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a chemical/SCM related field.
7–12 years of procurement and SCM experience in lubricants/ petrochemical/ chemical industries.
Experience sourcing lubricant base oils and additives; plant-level procurement experience.
Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, APICS/CSCP are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop procurement strategies aligned with production requirements and business objectives.
Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, vendor evaluations and procurement planning.
Manage sourcing of lubricant base oils (Group I–V) and additives and maintain supplier relationships.
Forecast demand, maintain optimal inventory, coordinate inbound logistics and warehouse planning.
Oversee packaging materials, spares, maintenance supplies and plant procurement.
Ensure supplier performance evaluations and audits and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain compliance with policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
