Job summary

QNB Group in Doha is seeking an experienced lawyer to assist in protecting the bank's interests across all litigations. The role involves providing sound legal advice on local and international cases and pro-actively mitigating potential issues.

You will manage relationships with courts and external lawyers, prepare memoranda, maintain case registers, and support the Legal Department's budgeting and regulatory obligations while upholding high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication in English and Arabic.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop KPIs and monitor litigation unit performance.
• Assist in budgeting for the Legal Department.
• Coordinate with local/international court and arbitration authorities.
• Prepare draft memoranda for external lawyers.
• Maintain cases register, diaries, and invoices reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management requirements.
