Job summary

Aletefaq Law Firm in Doha is actively seeking a qualified Associate Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Qatari law, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to communicate professionally with clients and institutions in both Arabic and English.

The role involves providing legal advice, conducting research, drafting contracts and pleadings, assisting in litigation and arbitration, and handling court procedures.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a recognized university.
• Strong knowledge of Qatari laws and legal procedures.
• Excellent Arabic and English communication, both written and spoken.
• Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills.
• Experience in litigation and dispute resolution preferred.
• Experience in commercial and corporate matters advantageous.
• Ability to prepare high-quality legal documents in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to clients.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions.
• Draft and review contracts, notices, memoranda and pleadings.
• Assist in litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Prepare and follow up on court and government procedures.
• Represent and communicate with clients professionally.
• Assist with arbitration and commercial disputes.
• Monitor cases, deadlines and legal developments.
• Work closely with senior lawyers and management.
