Qatar Care is seeking an experienced Senior Laboratory Technician to provide technical oversight and support for advanced laboratory operations in Doaa. The role covers analytical testing, biosafety, inventory management, and research activities to ensure high-quality lab operations.

The incumbent will support researchers, faculty, and junior staff, ensuring compliant methods, calibration, and documentation. On-site work with opportunities for career growth and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant science field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of laboratory experience in academic, clinical, or research settings.
• Completion of biosafety and chemical safety training.
• Advanced understanding of ISO 15189, ISO/IEC 17025, and GLP requirements.
• Experience operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation.
• Familiarity with analytical instrumentation and chemical/biological handling.
• Experience with LIMS or equivalent laboratory reporting systems.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate day-to-day laboratory activities and workflows.
• Support sample collection, processing, storage, and chain-of-custody procedures.
• Perform analytical testing using GC, HPLC, FTIR, AAS, UV-Vis, RT-PCR, ELISA and flow cytometry.
• Support method validation and quality standards compliance.
• Monitor QC/QA activities, calibration, proficiency testing, and equipment qualification.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and research assistants.
