Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
• Valid professional registration or licensing eligibility to work in Qatar.
• Experience as Lab Technician or related roles is preferred.
• Experience in hospital or diagnostic laboratory is advantageous.
• Knowledge of specimen collection, handling, and common lab disciplines.
• Understanding of quality control, calibration, and safe handling.

Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, label, identify, and process specimens per hospital procedures.
• Perform routine tests and diagnostic procedures within professional scope.
• Prepare specimens, reagents, slides, and materials for testing.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments per SOP.
• Record results and quality control data in laboratory information systems.
• Review outputs and report results through approved reporting procedures.
• Ensure specimen storage, transportation, and disposal follow procedures.
