Job summary

Vistas Global in Qatar is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a portfolio of strategic IT initiatives from initiation through closing. You will ensure on-schedule delivery aligned with the strategy plan and build strong relationships across IT, business units and external vendors.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree, PMI certification, and ideally an MBA or Master’s degree, with at least 8 years of IT project management experience in banking or financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• PMI certification required.
• MBA or Master’s Degree is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience managing IT projects in banking/financial services.
• Training in systems technology, management or banking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of IT projects from initiation to closing.
• Ensure on-schedule delivery per strategy plan.
• Build and maintain relationships with IT, business units and vendors.
• Coordinate communication across IT departments and report progress to management.
• Prepare initiation, status, closure reports and other requisite reports.
• Minimize risk by managing scope and mitigating risk across projects.
• Lead team and client meetings and provide direction.
• Ensure security and confidentiality of project information.
• Support auditors and compliance as required.
• Identify areas for personal and professional development.
