Job summary

BAE Systems seeks an experienced IT/ICT engineer to design and deploy comprehensive data center and telco solutions. You will craft detailed blueprints, lead deployments, and manage complex multi‑vendor projects across data centers and telecom environments.

You will drive innovation in hybrid cloud, automation, and network security, while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT/ICT engineering with data center and telco exposure.
• Strong hands‑on experience with virtualization, networking, and ICT platforms.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design IT ICT solutions including data center infrastructure and network architecture.
• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of IT ICT projects with system integration and testing.
• Architect and manage data center compute, storage, and network components.
• Design and implement telco solutions (WAN, SD‑WAN, MPLS) and enterprise ICT applications.
• Manage multi‑vendor projects with cross‑functional teams and contractors.
• Ensure security, compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR) and resilience in all designs.
