Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) seeks an experienced Senior Internal Audit Manager to lead risk-based audits across construction operations in Qatar. You will evaluate governance, risk management, internal controls, project controls, procurement, and contract management throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of Internal Audit, Risk, Assurance, or Compliance experience
• Extensive experience auditing construction, EPC, infrastructure, contracting, or project-based organizations
• Strong exposure to project controls, commercial management, procurement, and contract management
• Experience assessing project costs, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls
• Proven experience leading end-to-end audit engagements

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute risk-based internal audit engagements in accordance with IIA IPPF
• Develop annual audit programs based on risk assessments and business priorities
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes, and risk management frameworks
• Identify control weaknesses and provide practical, value-added recommendations
• Audit controls throughout the construction project lifecycle, including planning, design management, procurement, contract administration, and construction execution
• Assess project cost controls, budget management, forecasting, and cost-to-complete reporting
• Review variation orders, claims management, EOTs, subcontract administration, and commercial controls
• Develop RCMS and perform DE and OE testing
• Prepare concise audit reports and present findings to senior management
• Monitor corrective action plans and ensure timely closure
