Job summary

Advanced Search Group seeks an Internal Auditor for contracting operations in Doha to support the Head of Internal Audit with independent assurance over controls, risk management and governance. The focus spans project execution, procurement, cost control, subcontractor management and policy compliance.

Responsibilities include risk-based audits across project sites and offices, reviewing project budgets, variances, and cost reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Professional certifications preferred (CPA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent).
• 5–8+ years of internal/audit experience with contracting exposure.

Responsibilities

• Audit planning and execution across contracting operations, including projects and head office.
• Review budgets, costs, variances, and cost-control processes.
• Assess procurement, subcontractor management, and DOA/compliance.
• Conduct site audits and verify reporting accuracy and cost-to-complete estimates.
• Prepare clear audit reports and track recommendations to resolution.
• Advise management on process improvements while maintaining independence.
