Job summary

Urban Ridge Supplies in Qatar is seeking an experienced QA QC Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control activities for a major infrastructure programme. The role focuses on monitoring project quality requirements and ensuring that engineering and construction works comply with approved specifications, procedures, standards and contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Significant QA/QC experience within civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with ITPs, NCRs, inspections, audits, method statements and material approvals.
• Roads, drainage, utilities or major public infrastructure experience preferred.
• Qatar/GCC experience highly advantageous.
• Relevant QA/QC certifications advantageous.
• Strong reporting, documentation and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor project QA QC requirements.
• Review Project Quality Plans.
• ITPs, method statements and quality procedures.
• Conduct and coordinate site inspections.
• Review material approvals test results and inspection documentation.
• Raise monitor and close NCRs and corrective preventive actions.
• Maintain quality records registers and supporting documentation.
• Conduct quality audits and monitor contractor compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors consultants laboratories and client representatives.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with approved drawings specifications.
• Support testing commissioning and project handover documentation.
