Job summary

Amentum in Qatar seeks a FHE Refueler Mechanic to supervise reconstitution, preservation and maintenance of USAF Fuels Support Equipment and vehicle assets, ensuring compliance with PWS and ISO 9001.

Responsibilities include inspections, parts research, electrical systems work, safety, TDY deployments, and coordinating with supervision. Must have five years Fuels Technician experience and good English; travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Must understand, speak, read and write English at an intermediate level.
• Must be proficient in Windows OS and MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years' experience as a Fuels Technician required.
• Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.
• May be required to operate material handling and light to heavy military type vehicles/equipment.
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise monthly reconstitution, preservation and inspection goals.
• Perform Limited Technical Inspections (LTI) within guidelines.
• Ensure economical repair of USAF Fuels assets.
• Prioritize work according to goals and schedules.
• Inspect and prepare assets for air/land/sea movement.
• Maintain safety practices and housekeeping to the highest standard.
• Ensure tools and equipment are serviceable, accounted for and secured.
• Store and dispose of hazardous materials per SOP.
• Research repair parts and determine local availability.
• Inspect, test, repair and maintain electrical systems on fuels assets.
• Use wiring diagrams, test equipment and special tools.
• Charge and repair air conditioning systems.
• Maintain and store charged batteries and related equipment.
• Keep stock of charged batteries per SOP.
