Job summary

Amentum is seeking a qualified FHE Refueler Mechanic to supervise the reconstitution, preservation and maintenance of USAF Fuels Support Equipment and vehicle assets. The role ensures compliance with USAF requirements, the PWS, and the Amentum QMS.

Key tasks include inspections, safe handling of hazardous materials, and coordination of parts and repairs to keep equipment ready for air/land/sea movement. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to read, speak, read and write English at an intermediate level.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Capacity to work with a diverse workforce and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise reconstitution, preservation and maintenance of USAF Fuels assets.
• Perform inspections and ensure compliance with guidelines and PWS.
• Maintain safety practices and housekeeping to the highest standard.
• Inspect, test, repair and maintain electrical systems on fuels assets.
• Handle TDY assignments within the Area of Responsibility as required.
