Job summary

Amentum in Qatar seeks an FHE Technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Fuels assets in accordance with USAF publications and the PWS. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and service pumping systems, engines, fuel nozzles, hoses, and related equipment.

You must have a High School diploma, at least two years' hands-on experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to obtain a host nation license. Willingness to travel and TDY may be required.

Qualifications

• Must read, understand, speak, read and write English at a beginner level.
• Ability to interpret technical publications and instructions.
• Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs and using PPE.
• Must possess a valid home country driver's license and obtain host nation license.
• Two years of hands-on pumping systems and engine experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Fuels assets per USAF publications and PWS.
• Performs inspections, troubleshooting and repairs on fueling systems.
• Rebuilds engines and fuel components, replaces hoses and lines.
• Calibrates gauges and documents time sheets and orders.
• Operates in shop or outdoors, TDY as required, and adheres to safety rules.
