Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer, Flow Controls to join our North Middle East team based in Doha, Qatar. This role drives growth in Hydrocarbon, EPC, and Process Industries by identifying strategic project opportunities and positioning Emerson Flow Controls solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

You will work with EPCs, end users, consultants, OEMs, and internal stakeholders to develop and execute project pursuit strategies that deliver profitable growth and strengthen Emerson's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering related to mechanical, instrumentation, chemical or similar field.
• 7–10 years of experience in project sales, BD or end-user sales in process automation/instrumentation/flow control.
• Proven experience with major EPC contractors in Qatar or GCC.
• Strong understanding of project pursuit methodologies and sales cycle management.
• Ability to independently manage multiple opportunities and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify strategic capital project opportunities in line with business objectives.
• Lead project pursuits from early stages through PO award.
• Develop and execute pursuit strategies addressing customer drivers and requirements.
• Pursue new leads and prequalification opportunities to position Emerson early in projects.
• Build relationships with EPC contractors, FEED consultants, OEMs, end users, and influencers.
• Communicate Emerson's value proposition to technical and commercial stakeholders.
