Job summary

AECOM in Doha, Qatar is seeking an experienced Senior Fire Safety Manager to oversee all fire safety operations across our facilities. You will ensure regulatory compliance, lead fire protection programs, and mentor a team of safety professionals.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive safety protocols, coordinating with design and operations teams, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating with authorities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in fire safety management.
• Experience with suppression, detection and alarm systems.
• Knowledge of Qatar/Middle East fire codes.
• Experience in risk assessments, hazard analyses & audits.
• Emergency response planning & incident investigation proficiency.
• Leadership and staff development skills.
• CFPS or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fire safety programs aligned with Qatar regulations.
• Lead design coordination, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, QCD, and project specs.
• Review fire safety systems, evacuation routes, and life safety provisions.
• Oversee fire suppression and alarm systems maintenance.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP, and authorities.
• Lead training, inspections, and reporting to management.
• Lead emergency drills and incident investigations.
