Job summary

QAFCO in Qatar is seeking an experienced Emergency Response Leader to join the safety team. You will attend emergency calls, perform firefighting and rescue operations, and ensure proper maintenance of safety equipment.

The role requires a minimum of five years in oil and gas or related industries, NFPA firefighter certifications, and driving licenses. You will coordinate with the emergency centre, conduct inspections, and contribute to drills and incident reviews.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years direct experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertiliser or heavy manufacturing.
• NFPA Firefighter I & II and valid First Aid/CPR certifications required.
• Driver's licenses for Light and Heavy vehicles; Qatar driving license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend emergency calls, stand by duty, and firefighting duties.
• Control access to site and perform routine safety inspections.
• Operate firefighting equipment and maintain readiness.
• Participate in drills, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with emergency centre and responders.
