Job summary

QAFCO (Qatar Fertiliser Company) in Mesaieed seeks an experienced HSEQ professional to lead emergency response duties. You will attend emergency calls, stand by for firefighting, control site access, and operate safety equipment to maintain readiness.

The role requires NFPA Firefighter I & II and First Aid/CPR certifications, HazMat awareness, and basic rescue training. You may also supply safety items, supervise drills, and support continuous improvement of overall site safety and incident

Qualifications

NFPA firefighter certifications and first aid/CPR credentials required.
HazMat awareness; operations training advantageous.
Valid driving licenses for light and heavy vehicles preferred.

Responsibilities

Acknowledge and respond to fire alarms, emergency calls and ambulance services.
Perform firefighting, rescue operations, and control of chemical spills as directed.
Inspect and maintain safety and firefighting equipment regularly.
Maintain communications with the emergency centre and incident controllers.
Report findings and recommendations from incidents and drills to improve readiness.
Ensure access routes and stores are kept clear for rapid emergency response.
