Job summary

Mekdam Holding Group in Qatar is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, SD‑WAN, data centers and telecommunications systems.

You will troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues, monitor performance, uphold security controls and document networks while collaborating with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure high availability in a mission‑critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/ICT/CS or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of enterprise network operations and support experience.
• CCNA certification mandatory; CCNP is a plus.
• Strong expertise in LAN, WAN, WLAN and SD‑WAN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and cabling.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation and English communication skills.
• Qatar driving license is mandatory.
• Experience in data centers and enterprise infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain and optimize enterprise network infrastructure and data centers.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, SD‑WAN, cabling and connectivity issues.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, APs and security devices.
• Monitor network performance and improve availability and reliability.
• Support telecom systems, IP phones and communications links.
• Perform preventive maintenance and incident resolution with minimal downtime.
• Document networks, diagrams, procedures and maintenance records.
• Participate in after-hours support as needed.
