Job summary
Maseera in Doha is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to manage and troubleshoot critical enterprise networks.
You will handle FortiGate firewalls, Cisco routing & switching, Huawei devices, and WAN/MPLS/SD-WAN environments, ensuring 24/7 availability and high performance.
You will work with ISPs and carriers, prepare incident reports, and contribute to RCA/RFO documentation to prevent recurrence. The role requires strong troubleshooting and customer communication in a fast-paced telecom setting.
Qualifications
- Hands-on ISP/telecom/NOC or enterprise network experience.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), FortiGate, Cisco and Huawei.
- Proficient in BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, NAT, ACL, QoS and IPsec VPN.
- Experience troubleshooting Internet, MPLS/WAN, SD-WAN and network performance issues.
- Strong incident management and customer communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls, NAT, security policies, routing, and IPsec VPNs.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Routing & Switching, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP, ACLs, NAT, QoS.
- Support Huawei routers and switches; troubleshoot ISP/WAN issues.
- Monitor network performance, alarms, interfaces, and service availability.
- Handle incidents and escalations and coordinate with ISPs, carriers, vendors, and enterprise customers.
- Prepare technical findings, incident reports, and RCA/RFO documentation.
