Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Qatar seeks a senior cybersecurity leader to oversee risk management, incident response, and security operations. You will shape the company’s security program, implement ISO 27001/NIST controls, and drive improvements across networks, cloud, and identity management.

Lead security governance, mentor teams, and report to management with concise risk-based recommendations and metrics. This full-time role offers a strategic security leadership track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
• Strong experience in security risk management, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• In-depth knowledge of SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls and related tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and improve the organization’s cybersecurity posture.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Investigate security incidents, identify root causes, and coordinate remediation.
• Manage security technologies including SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS and firewalls.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
• Perform threat analysis and recommend security controls.
• Coordinate penetration testing, audits, and remediation tracking.
• Prepare security reports, risk registers, and management presentations.
• Support awareness programmes and provide technical guidance to teams.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks and regulatory requirements.
