Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a Senior Security Architect to lead the design and deployment of enterprise-grade security solutions in a full-time role. You will architect defenses, oversee VPN and cloud security implementations, and align security programs with business goals.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10+ years of IT and cybersecurity architecture experience, with deep knowledge of enterprise and cloud security frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in IT and cybersecurity architecture.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise and cloud security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Firewall & Threat Protection: Architect and oversee deployment of FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA5500, and other security solutions.
• Network Security Architecture: Design secure VPN solutions, ACS/ISE, DNS security and enterprise network segmentation.
• Information Security Design: Develop system security frameworks, apply cryptography and implement risk management.
• Cloud Security: Integrate Azure and GCP cloud environments into enterprise security architecture.
• Business Alignment: Align security initiatives with organizational goals, balancing risk and efficiency.
• Incident Response & Governance: Provide architectural support for incident response, audits and compliance.
• Documentation & Standards: Maintain security architecture blueprints, policies, and procedures.
• Mentoring & Leadership: Guide security engineers, review designs, ensure best practices.
