Job summary

Confidential Government Entity in Qatar is seeking a Contracts Manager (Projects) to oversee the full contractual lifecycle of major capital projects, infrastructure, and engineering consultancy contracts.

Responsibilities include leading tender documentation, managing contract activities across the lifecycle, advising on variations, EOTs, disputes, and risk, while ensuring governance and compliance across procurement processes and approvals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in contracts management, procurement, construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience managing both pre-award and post-award contract processes.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts; SANAD forms desirable.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and negotiation of tender and contract documentation for major capital and infrastructure projects.
• Manage contractual activities throughout the project lifecycle, from tendering and award through execution, close-out, and final settlement.
• Advise project teams on variations, claims, extensions of time (EOT), disputes, and commercial risk management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, procurement policies, governance requirements, and approval frameworks.
• Review payment applications, contractor performance, contractual correspondence, and project-related commercial matters.
• Support stakeholder engagement with consultants, contractors, legal advisors, and project delivery teams to safeguard contractual interests.
