Job summary

MPH Experts is seeking a Senior Contract Engineer for a Doha, Qatar assignment. Start date is ASAP with a fixed end date in December 2028. The role requires residential, single work status and close interaction with the contracts team.

Responsibilities include drafting the contracts dossier with the DUET counterpart, validating strategy, negotiating bids, and ensuring insurance and KPI monitoring. Candidates should have 5–7 years in O&G contracts and 2 years with MPH Experts.

Qualifications

• BSc degree in science or commercial field or equivalent.
• 5-7 years post-graduate experience in contracts within the O&G industry.
• 2 years' experience as a Contract Engineer in the company.
• Experience in engineering, construction or quantity surveying.
• Advanced level in Contracts technical competencies.
• C&P tools advanced certification required.

Responsibilities

• Create the contracts dossier with the DUET counterpart and define responsibilities.
• Validate contracts strategy.
• Negotiate and analyze commercial bids.
• Participate in recommendations to award.
• Ensure insurance issues of assets and personnel are addressed.
• Monitor KPIs to manage performance.
• Update the contracts management tool.
• Stay informed of best practices to improve contracts.
• Use frame agreements FALTC signed by shareholders.
