Job summary

Client of Brunel seeks a senior Contracts Manager to lead commercial and contracting activities for an EPCC project post award through close-out, delivering value protection and efficient change management.

You will collaborate with SUPPLY and Legal/Risk teams to align claims handling with Qatar Energy governance and develop onshore contract strategies while driving rapid and mid-term improvements with project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business, law or engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in multi-billion lump-sum energy projects (post-award).
• Experienced project manager or construction/project control manager.
• Strong influencing, risk and dispute resolution awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and contracting direction post-award through close-out.
• Deliver the value protection plan and manage change-order processes for best value.
• Collaborate with SUPPLY on claims prevention and dispute resolution per Qatar Energy governance.
• Maintain relationships with Legal and Risk Management for contract issues and mitigation.
• Develop post-award contract management strategies for onshore.
• Coordinate preparation for contract evaluations and end-of-contract close-outs per Qatargas procedures.
• Support management in claims management and analyses for LNG Major Projects.
• Drive quick wins and mid-term improvements with project managers for the digital strategy.
