Job summary

Marine Company in Doha is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial strategy, governance, and business operations. The role requires overseeing contracts, procurement, logistics, and business development across marine construction projects.

Ideal candidates bring a decade of Commercial Management experience, 5+ years in leadership, and strong negotiation and contract-management skills. Short-notice availability or transferable visa is a plus. Salary: QAR17,000 per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Bilingual in Arabic & English with strong communication skills.
• Master’s degree / MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Professional certifications such as MRICS, MCIPS, PMP, CCM or equivalent advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years in Commercial Management and minimum 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in Marine Construction, Offshore, Dredging, Oil & Gas, EPC or Heavy Civil Infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial strategy, governance, and business operations.
• Manage and oversee contracts and commercial activities.
• Lead procurement and supply chain management.
• Manage logistics and related commercial activities.
• Oversee tendering, proposals, and business development.
• Conduct commercial negotiations with clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor project commercial performance, costs, risks, and contractual obligations.
• Ensure effective contract administration and commercial compliance.
