Job summary

UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company in Qatar is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to provide commercial management support to enhance business profitability. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, along with at least 8 years of experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role. This position requires strong commercial acumen and the ability to foster long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years working experience, including 5 in a supervisory position.
• 2 years GCC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies.
• Lead contract negotiations and oversee compliance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of construction contractual matters

Excellent understanding of commercial and financial matters

Negotiating and reviewing documents

Advanced MS Office skills

ERP knowledge preferably SAP

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering

FIDIC Certification or Chartered membership of CIOB/RICS
