Job summary

Qatar Navigation Q.P.S.C. seeks an experienced procurement leader to drive category strategies and supplier relationships across offshore marine and related EPCIC projects.

You will lead high-value tenders, optimize spend, and ensure compliant contract execution with cross-functional teams. The role requires 8–12+ years in procurement, strong knowledge of IMCA standards, and a track record in offshore vessel operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in procurement & supply chain management as a category manager or similar role.
• Minimum 5 years' experience within multinational company.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize assigned category(s) according to Milaha-wide Procurement strategy.
• Develop multi-year category strategies aligned with business objectives and communicate to stakeholders.
• Lead strategic procurement processes including supplier portfolio management, market analytics, RfX and high-value orders.
• Present category or sourcing strategies to Tender Committee or leadership when requested.
• Monitor global supplier markets, analyze trends, conduct market assessments and cost/ownership analyses.
• Manage key supplier relationships and conduct supplier performance reviews.
• Define optimization initiatives and support make-or-buy decisions.
• Identify category risks and develop risk management initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into timely procurement of materials and services.
• Evaluate proposals, interpret tender documents and ensure compliance with policies.
• Lead negotiations and contract management with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
