Job summary

PayTech Group in Doha, Qatar, seeks a Technical Card Systems Expert – Banking for a 6-12 month on-site contract. You will lead technical workstreams across card issuing, acquiring, and processing, translating requirements into scalable solutions and ensuring security and production readiness.

The role requires 8–10 years in banking payments, strong API and integration experience, and excellent English communication; Arabic preferred.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years hands-on experience in banking, digital payments, orFinTech environments.
• Strong understanding of card issuing, acquiring, and processing systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME across card issuing, acquiring, processing, and payment platforms.
• Translate client requirements into robust technical designs and integrations.
• Lead end-to-end implementation activities: discovery, design, integration, testing, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans for client projects.
• Support client tech teams and third-party processors during integration and troubleshooting.
