Job summary

PayTech Nexus Ltd in Doha seeks a seasoned Card Products Expert to drive the New Value Proposition Card Launch. You will design, position and commercialise card propositions, coordinating with banks, clients and internal teams to ensure a successful launch and post-launch optimisation.

The role requires deep card/payments knowledge, 8–10 years’ experience, and strong English communication; Arabic is a plus. On-site contract for 6–12 months in Doha.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Experience within Banking, Digital Payment & Card solutions, or the FinTech industry.
• Regional experience in a faced-paced matrix organisation.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written, verbal, and presentation); Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the new card product/value proposition, ensuring alignment with broader product and market strategy.
• Conduct market, consumer, competitor, and issuer analysis to identify opportunities and inform proposition design.
• Partner with issuing banks and clients to understand requirements and support successful product adoption and implementation.
• Lead key workstreams across product development, launch readiness, positioning, pricing/value proposition, and go-to-market planning.
• Collaborate with Product, Consulting, Marketing, Sales, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure effective execution.
• Develop compelling business cases, product narratives, and client-facing materials to support stakeholder and issuer engagement.
• Support the development of launch plans, including customer proposition, benefits, communications, activation, and acquisition strategies.
• Monitor market and product performance following launch, identifying opportunities for optimisation and further growth.
• Provide subject-matter expertise on card products, payments trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive dynamics across Qatar and the wider GCC.
• Function as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, providing commercially focused recommendations and practical solutions.
