Job summary

PromoQ in Doha invites a Head of Operations Assistant to join our leadership team. You will help oversee daily salon operations, enhance efficiency, and ensure an exceptional client experience.

You’ll support staff recruitment, training, scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting while maintaining health and safety standards. Collaborating on promotions, events, and reporting will help attract new clients and retain existing ones.

Qualifications

• Experience in a salon, spa or similar customer-focused environment, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to motivate and support staff.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-oriented focus.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of inventory management, scheduling, and cost control practices.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations within a salon setting.
• Passion for beauty, wellness, and delivering top-tier customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Operations with day-to-day running of the salon, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to quality standards.
• Support recruitment, training, and development of salon staff; lead by example to maintain motivation and performance.
• Ensure clients receive high-quality experiences, managing queries, complaints, and feedback efficiently.
• Coordinate staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and optimal staffing levels.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and liaising with suppliers for timely deliveries.
• Monitor financial performance, including sales targets, revenue tracking, and cost-control initiatives.
• Ensure all salon areas meet health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collaborate with the team to implement marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to attract and retain clients.
• Assist with creating reports on performance, client feedback, and operational issues; support day-to-day administrative tasks.
