Job summary

Newrest is seeking a Safety Officer in Qatar to implement and monitor safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and creating a safe working environment. The role includes inductions, drills, and fostering a safety-first culture across the site.

The candidate will coordinate with auditors, maintain audit-ready documentation, and use KPIs to drive improvements in safety performance, reporting to stakeholders as required.

Qualifications

• Implement safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide safety induction to new employees.
• Conduct regular safety drills and training (fire, evacuation).
• Monitor OSHA, ISO 45001, NEBOSH and local laws.
• Prepare reports and maintain audit documentation.
