Role Description

The Restaurant Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a client’s restaurant, ensuring excellent guest service, consistent food quality, and smooth service delivery. This on-site role is located in Qatar and involves supervising staff, managing schedules, coordinating with the kitchen, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards. The Restaurant Manager will monitor inventory, control costs, and support budgeting and reporting in line with ELS Consultancy’s performance and efficiency goals. Responsibilities include training and developing team members, resolving customer issues, implementing operational procedures, and collaborating with consulting staff to improve processes and overall profitability. This is a full-time position requiring a hands‑on, organized, and service-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Strong restaurant operations management skills, including staff supervision, shift scheduling, and day-to-day floor management.
• Experience with customer service, guest relations, and handling feedback or complaints in a professional manner.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and health and safety regulations relevant to restaurant environments.
• Ability to manage inventories, control costs, and support basic financial reporting and budgeting activities.
• Competence in training, coaching, and developing front-of-house and back-of-house team members.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Prior experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar supervisory role; experience in Qatar or GCC region is an advantage.
• Comfort with basic computer systems and POS software; familiarity with reporting tools is beneficial.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
