Job summary

Our Habitas is seeking an Engineering Operations & Maintenance leader to oversee daily resort engineering activities and drive preventive maintenance programs. You will supervise the team, coordinate with hotel departments, and ensure safe, reliable operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other building systems.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, managing maintenance schedules, and sustaining energy efficiency and asset records in a remote resort environment.

Qualifications

Experience in hotel, resort, or hospitality engineering preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
Ability to supervise and coordinate maintenance teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operation of the Engineering Department for resort facilities.
Lead preventive maintenance and asset management programs.
Coordinate repairs with other departments to minimize guest disruption.
Ensure safety, compliance, and sustainability across engineering activities.
Monitor energy and water use and drive efficiency improvements.
Maintain records of work orders, inspections, and equipment history.
