Job summary

Our Habitas Ras Abrouq is seeking an Assistant Engineering Manager to oversee the Engineering Department, safeguarding all resort facilities, equipment, and guest villas. Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive engineering/maintenance experience, including supervisory or team leadership exposure.
• Luxury hotel/resort experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, refrigeration, and water systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operation of the Engineering Department and ensure smooth functioning of facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest villas, public areas, F&B outlets, kitchens and associate areas to identify maintenance requirements.
• Maintain safety, asset management, and preventive maintenance records.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to execute repairs with minimal guest disruption.
• Lead and coach the Engineering team; ensure effective shift handovers and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
