Job summary

ENNISMORE in Doha seeks an Engineering Operations & Maintenance professional to oversee day-to-day engineering, ensure safety, and coordinate maintenance across villas, F&B outlets, kitchens, and guest areas.

You will lead the team, drive preventive maintenance, manage assets, and collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Security to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

This role emphasizes energy management, safety compliance, and cost-efficient operations in a luxury resort environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in hotel/resort engineering and maintenance is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in progressive engineering/maintenance with supervisory exposure.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of the Engineering Department.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest villas, F&B outlets, kitchens, and other facilities.
• Maintain building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water, etc.) in safe, efficient condition.
• Coordinate repairs with other departments to minimize guest disruption.
• Lead and develop the Engineering team; supervise and schedule work orders.
• Maintain health, safety, compliance records and participate in safety drills.
• Monitor energy and sustainability efforts and manage inventory and procurement of parts.
