Job summary

voco Doha Central, a pre-opening hotel within the InterContinentalHotelsGroup family, is looking for a Reservations Agent who can deliver exceptional service and memorable first impressions. You will be the first touchpoint, guiding guests through room options, rates, and local attractions in a warm, professional manner.

Join a team preparing for opening in vibrant Doha, coordinating with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams to optimize occupancy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Reservations Agent or in Front Office/Guest Services in a hotel.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational abilities.
• Understanding of hotel operations and revenue principles.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and guest-focused attitude.
• Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle room reservations via phone, email, and online channels with accuracy.
• Provide guests with information about room types, rates, hotel facilities, and local attractions.
• Process new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
• Maximize room revenue through upselling and promoting hotel services.
• Enter reservation details accurately into the property management system.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, and other departments.
• Monitor room availability and assist with inventory management.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and reservation concerns.
• Support opening and ongoing operations of the hotel.

Every day is different,but you’ll mostly be:

• Handling room reservations via phone, email, and online booking channels with accuracy and efficiency
• Providing guests with information about room types, rates, hotel facilities, and local attractions
• Processing new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests
• Maximizing room revenue through upselling and promoting hotel services and packages
• Ensuring all reservation details are entered accurately into the property management system
• Maintaining effective communication with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, and other hotel departments
• Monitoring room availability and assisting with inventory management
• Responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and reservation-related concerns
• Supporting the successful opening and ongoing operations of the hotel

What we need from you

• Previous experience as a Reservations Agent, Front Office Agent, or Guest Services Agent within a hotel environment, preferably with knowledge of hotel reservation or PMS systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Good understanding of hotel operations and revenue principles
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, guest-focused attitude
• Fluency in English; additional languages will be an advantage
