Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Qatar is seeking a senior QC/QA Inspection Lead with extensive Oil & Gas experience to oversee quality control during projects and shutdowns. You will manage a team of QC engineers and inspectors, verify materials, witness tests, and ensure documentation integrity.

Role requires leadership, field installation experience, and compliance with HSE standards; GCC exposure and relevant certifications enhance candidacy.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas QC/QA.
• GCC experience required (5–7 years).
• Experience managing QC Engineers & Inspectors.
• Shutdown/Turnaround experience is an advantage.
• Field installation experience: piping, structural steel, tanks/welding.
• Mandatory certifications: CSWIP 3.2.2 /EWE/IWE and IRCA ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor.

Responsibilities

Inspection : Inspect welding, piping, and mechanical installations.

Material Verification : Check materials, consumables, and welding electrodes against approved specifications.

Testing : Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, and NDT tests.

Documentation : Maintain inspection reports, test certificates, and compliance records.

NCR Handling : Identify non‑conformances and report corrective actions.

Safety Compliance : Ensure inspections are conducted safely and in line with HSE standards.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 12-15 years of exp. in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizers industry in Quality control & Assurance (5-7 year GCC Exp is must).
  
• Experienced in managing a team of QC Engineers & Inspectors.
  
• Shutdown/Turnarounds experience is an added advantage.
  
• Experienced in Field installation of Piping, Structural Steel, Tanks Welding.
  

Mandatory certifications:

• CSWIP 3.2.2 /EWE/IWE, IRCA ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor.
