Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Qatar seeks an experienced Offshore QA/QC Inspector to perform welding and mechanical inspections in line with offshore standards. You will implement ITPs, coordinate NDT, manage NCRs, and maintain comprehensive inspection documentation.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of QA/QC inspection experience, at least 5 years offshore, and CSWIP 3.1/3.2 Welding Inspector Certification with ISO 9001 knowledge. Offshore survival training is advantageous.

Qualifications

• CSWIP 3.1/3.2 Welding Inspector Certification and ISO 9001 knowledge preferred.
• Offshore survival training (BOSIET/HUET) beneficial.

Welding & Mechanical Inspection : Perform inspection of welding, mechanical systems, and piping in compliance with offshore standards.

QA/QC Management : Ensure adherence to project specifications, codes, and client requirements.

ITP Implementation : Execute Inspection & Test Plans for mechanical and welding activities.

Materials Inspection : Verify materials, consumables, and equipment against approved specifications.

NDT Coordination : Supervise and coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities.

NCR Management : Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and monitor corrective actions.

Documentation : Maintain inspection reports, welding records, material certificates, and compliance documentation.

Compliance Monitoring : Ensure compliance with offshore safety and quality standards.

Coordination : Liaise with project managers, QA/QC teams, and subcontractors to resolve inspection issues.

Strong knowledge of ASME, AWS, API, ISO, and offshore codes.

Proficiency in welding inspection, NDT methods, and mechanical QA/QC procedures.

Ability to independently manage inspections, NCRs, and compliance monitoring.

Excellent communication and reporting skills.

CSWIP 3.1/3.2 Certification (Welding Inspector / Senior Welding Inspector).
