Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Qatar is seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector to lead field inspections of piping, vessels, and welding activities, ensuring compliance with project specs and QA/QC procedures.

The role requires a Mechanical engineering background, API 510/570 and CSWIP 3.1/3.2 certifications, offshore exposure, and strong ability to interpret drawings and apply NDT methods, with effective teamwork and reporting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• API 510, API 570, CSWIP 3.1/3.2 mandatory certifications.
• 5–7 years QA/QC inspection experience, offshore exposure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inspection standards and welding codes.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in NDT methods and inspection tools.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection of piping, vessels, and welding activities.
• Verify adherence to project specifications, codes, and QA/QC procedures.
• Inspect welding consumables, procedures, and test results.
• Submit inspection reports and assist in QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate with supervisors and contractors to resolve inspection issues.
