Job summary

ConFlip in Al-Rayyan, Qatar is seeking a Wedding Planner on a contract basis. The role targets candidates who can manage weddings end-to-end, coordinate budgets, venues, and vendors, with less emphasis on English language proficiency and a preference for male candidates.

You will work on your own schedule, ensure flawless event execution, and handle all planning details from concept to guest experience, while coordinating with clients to meet expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in event planning or coordination, preferably with weddings
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Fluency in Arabic or other languages commonly spoken in Qatar (preferred)
• Must have own visa to work in Qatar

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their vision and preferences for their wedding
• Develop and maintain budgets for each event
• Source and negotiate contracts with vendors such as caterers, florists, photographers, etc.
• Coordinate all logistical details including venue selection, transportation arrangements, and guest accommodations
• Create detailed timelines and schedules for each event
• Oversee setup and execution of events on the day of the wedding
• Maintain communication with clients throughout the planning process to ensure their satisfaction
