Job summary

Client of Hire Fellows seeks an entrepreneurial Country Manager to launch and lead a GCC platform in Qatar. As the first market hire, you will own the activation, partnerships and growth, building a local presence from scratch and reporting to the CEO.

You will engage brand partners, shape market strategy, and drive youth-focused engagement. Arabic and English fluency is preferred, with immediate availability in Qatar.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales, business development or partnerships roles.
• Proven track record of building and closing commercial partnerships.
• Existing network across brands, businesses and relevant industries in Qatar (preferred).
• Strong understanding of the Qatari market and youth culture.
• Willingness to operate in a fast-paced startup with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute brand entry and expansion strategy in Qatar.
• Drive partner acquisition and build a strong opportunity pipeline.
• Identify, approach and close partnerships with brands, businesses and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with partners and strategic accounts.
• Own market activation initiatives and local execution of the platform.
• Develop understanding of Qatari youth market and competitive landscape.
• Represent the company in meetings, events and industry engagements in Qatar.
• Monitor performance against market targets and KPIs, adjusting as needed.
• Provide market insights and recommendations to leadership for growth.
• Operate independently in a high-growth startup environment.
