Job summary

Swan Global is seeking an experienced QA/QC professional to oversee quality assurance on construction projects in Qatar. The role requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, 8+ years of QA/QC experience, and Qatar construction exposure.

The successful candidate will ensure ISO 9001 compliance, review quality plans, coordinate inspections, audits, and NCR/CAPA processes while supporting continuous improvement and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant QA/QC experience in the construction industry.
• Qatar construction experience is mandatory.
• Valid Quality Management certification.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, QA/QC systems, inspections, ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs, CAPA, audits and quality documentation.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors and project teams.
• Strong communication, reporting, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor QA/QC activities across construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Review and implement ITPs, Method Statements and Quality Plans.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and quality audits.
• Monitor NCRs and corrective/preventive actions.
• Support internal, external and client audits.
• Maintain QA/QC records and prepare quality reports.
• Support the QA/QC Manager in achieving quality objectives and continuous improvement.
