Detailed Job Description

As a QA/QC Manager in Qatar via GET Group (get-eng.com), you will serve as the principal quality authority responsible for ensuring the absolute compliance and structural integrity of major Design & Build infrastructure developments. Your daily responsibilities will encompass directing comprehensive QA/QC systems, managing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), overseeing site inspections and testing procedures, resolving Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and supervising quality documentation. You will coordinate proactively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, enforce rigorous quality standards, and lead quality audit programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate, implement, and direct comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) management systems for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Spearhead quality governance across Design & Build infrastructure projects in full compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Manage end-to-end Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), material approvals, site inspections, and testing protocols.
• Issue, investigate, and resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), executing rigorous root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
• Oversee the preparation, review, and archiving of quality documentation, as-built records, and handover dossiers.
• Coordinate seamlessly with client representatives, engineering consultants, and specialized subcontractors.
• Conduct regular internal and external quality audits, supplier evaluations, and subcontractor compliance reviews.
• Lead and mentor site QA/QC inspectors, quality engineers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety codes, environmental regulations, and contractual technical specifications.
• Author executive quality reports, dashboard summaries, and steering committee presentations for senior management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 15+ years of relevant professional QA/QC experience in construction and infrastructure, with extensive GCC tenure.
• Mandatory certifications: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification and UPDA/MMUP engineering certification.
• Proven hands-on experience managing QA/QC systems for major Design & Build infrastructure projects.
• Deep expertise in Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality documentation, NCRS, and site testing regimes.
• Outstanding stakeholder management, leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional communication capabilities.
• Mandatory language proficiency: Bilingual fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Mandatory residency/work authorization: Ability to operate on-site in Qatar (immediate or short-notice availability preferred).
