Job summary

Swan Global is seeking a skilled QC Inspector to join our quality team for ongoing oil & gas and industrial projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience with QatarEnergy standards and strong technical knowledge of inspection, testing, and quality control procedures in EPC environments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a QC Inspector in oil & gas or industrial projects.
• Prior experience in QatarEnergy or major oil & gas projects is highly preferred.
• Certified in CSWIP 3.1 / AWS / BGAS / NDT Level II / Coating Inspector.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection techniques, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and testing activities for piping, welding, mechanical, civil, or coating works as per approved ITPs and project specifications.
• Ensure all materials and workmanship comply with QatarEnergy and international standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
• Verify and review material certificates, calibration records, and test reports.
• Monitor site activities and raise inspection requests (IRs) as required.
• Identify and report non-conformances, assist in corrective actions, and maintain accurate QC documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors during inspection stages.
• Support QA/QC Engineer in preparing final dossiers and handover documentation.
