Job summary

Advanced Search in Qatar seeks an experienced QA/QC professional to ensure compliance across EPC project execution and handover, with offshore LNG project exposure.

The role requires 10+ years in oil & gas QA/QC, leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, and extensive knowledge of welding inspection, NDT, and industry standards such as API, ASME, AWS, and ISO. Offshore certifications and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of oil & gas QA/QC experience, including offshore LNG projects.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary QA/QC teams and shutdown activities.
• Expertise in valve inspection (MOVs, SDVs, DBBs), testing and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of API, ASME, AWS, NACE, ISO and related industry standards.
• Experience with inspections, audits, ITPs, NCRs, source inspection and QA/QC programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures QA/QC compliance across EPC project execution and handover, reporting to the Head of Projects QA/QC and supporting the PMT.
• Lead QA/QC activities during shutdowns and offshore modifications.
• Conduct inspections, audits and ITPs to ensure quality across procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning.
• Oversee implementation of QA/QC plans, NCR handling and source inspections.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain high quality and safety standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Valid OPITO TBOSIET, H2S, Breathing Apparatus, and offshore medical certifications.
