Qualifications

• 5–7 years of IT project design, development, implementation and management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and PM methodologies.
• Experience with application development and outsourced tech services.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and manage assigned IT projects to meet requirements.

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for an established technology solutions and services provider in Doha, Qatar. Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects across venues, hospitality, and other service verticals. The role involves managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring successful technology delivery in line with business requirements, approved architectures, industry standards, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

• Manage and successfully deliver assigned IT projects and technology solutions in accordance with established project management standards, processes, and business requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and delivery roadmaps to monitor and track project progress.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, scope, and quality standards.
• Monitor project performance using appropriate tools, metrics, and reporting techniques.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential delays, implementing corrective actions to maintain delivery commitments.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedules, and costs using appropriate change control and verification techniques.
• Ensure project deliverables meet defined business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Technology Delivery & SDLC Management

• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members to ensure project deliverables align with approved architecture, technology frameworks, and organizational standards.
• Support and oversee technology projects across multiple domains, including application development and outsourced technology services.
• Ensure adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and established project delivery methodologies.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve project-related challenges and maintain delivery quality.
• Ensure effective implementation of project governance, documentation, and reporting practices.
• Apply industry standards, emerging trends, and best practices to improve project delivery effectiveness.

Resource & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with clients, business stakeholders, internal teams, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party service providers to ensure effective project execution.
• Define responsibilities, communicate expectations, and monitor team performance against project objectives.
• Facilitate project meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder updates to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines.
• Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and resolve issues that may affect project outcomes.
• Maintain clear communication across technical and business teams to support timely decision-making and successful delivery.

Project Governance, Reporting & Control

• Maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, status reports, and other relevant project documentation.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, resource utilization, and costs against approved plans.
• Identify and elevate project risks, issues, and deviations to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure project management practices remain consistent with organizational processes and industry standards.
• Prepare regular project progress reports and communicate delivery status to clients and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in designing, developing, implementing, and managing IT projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and project management methodologies.
• Proven experience managing projects of varying sizes, complexity, and types, including application development and outsourced technology services.
• Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and project performance tracking.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project (MPP), Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Visio.
• Strong understanding of project management practices, technology delivery processes, and project governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within defined timelines and budgets.

Preferred Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP).

Preferred Domain & Technical Experience

• Familiarity with the hospitality and loyalty domains.
• Experience managing IT projects across venues, hospitality, or other service-oriented business verticals.
• Understanding of application development, software delivery processes, and technology implementation projects.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.
