Job summary

Al Attiyah Architectural Constructions seeks an experienced Procurement Engineer specializing in MEP contracting and construction projects to source, negotiate, and coordinate procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or electrical engineering background, 7+ years in procurement, strong supplier management and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/Dynamics), and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer in MEP contracting and construction projects The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing negotiating purchasing and coordinating the procurement of MEP materials equipment and subcontractor services while ensuring compliance with project specifications budgets and delivery schedules The candidate must possess strong technical knowledge of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing systems and demonstrate excellent supplier management and commercial negotiation skills

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of procurement experience in MEP contracting and construction companies.
• Proven experience in procurement for commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and construction materials.
• Experience with local and international suppliers.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures, contract administration, and supply chain management.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in ERP procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
