Job summary

Almuftah Projects and Industrial Services (AMPIS) is seeking a Procurement Engineer – Civil & MEP to manage procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontract services for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, and MEP works in Qatar.

You will coordinate with project teams, suppliers, and QA/QC to ensure on-time delivery, price competitiveness, and compliance with approved specs and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of procurement experience in construction/contracting (Civil/MEP).
• Experience with ERP/procurement systems (Oracle, SAP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review BOQs, specs, drawings to identify procurement needs.
• Issue RFQs/RFPs to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate quotations and prepare T&C recommendations.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure procurement aligns with project schedules and budgets.
• Maintain procurement documentation and supplier database.
